9 - Esmeralda B - Going Back in Time

 Going Back In Time

I’m very indecisive. I watched a lot of shows growing up and I can't choose a favorite. I probably never can. Most of the shows I would watch would be on the programs Disney, Disney XD, Nick Jr., Qubo, and CBeebies. We would always move around so I would just watch what was on whether I liked it or not. Most of the shows were interesting so I didn't mind much. Some were educational such as Nina and the Neurons and Grossology. Other shows such as Sally Bollywood taught me to look at things more closely. All of the shows I would watch as a kid taught me a lesson, they hold a special place in my heart, and shaped me into the person I am today.

I do have a favorite character from my childhood. It’s Makka Pakka. Makka Pakka is beige, small, and round-bodied. He has three rounded protuberances on his head, ears and bum to represent stones. He likes cleaning things and is often seen traveling around the garden riding his scooter, the Og-Pog, which carries his sponge, soap, and orange trumpet. I drew him in preschool or kindergarten when my teacher asked me the same question. I still have that drawing. Why is he my favorite? Maybe, because he's basically a rock. I honestly don’t know though I loved him growing up and still do.

As you can tell I watched very different shows than what most kids watched growing up. I didn't watch Spongebob growing up and if I'm being completely honest I'm very glad I didn't cause I would have gotten bored so quickly. I watched shows from all over the world such as Canada, the UK, Spain, etc.
