Halloween Gone Wrong
Halloween is a holiday when grownups go out and buy candy that will eventually wind up in the stomach of a small child or an adolescent. Although Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays, it is one that I do celebrate because I go out and trick or treat throughout the neighborhood. 8:48 p.m., October 31, 2019. When my cousin took a basket full of candy from this random house, this was the exact date and time. On Halloween night, we were trick-or-treating as any other fourteen-year-old and eleven-year-old would. We were walking around the streets and munching candies when she suddenly bolted. Of course, I pursued her. When I eventually caught up with her, she was just getting candy from the basket they had set out for trick or treaters. I didn't expect her to take the entire basket. I advised her to put it back because it was possible that they had cameras, but she ignored me. I told her again, but we were already a long way from the house (and she didn't seem to mind). It was unquestionably a night to remember. She also presented me with the basket. I'm not sure why she had stolen it in the first place if she intended to give it to me in the end. Do you want to know what I think the most amusing aspect of this story is? The basket is still in my possession. After three years it’s still exactly where I left it.
